The Inclusive Conservation Initiative (ICI) Phase Four Report examines how direct, long-term and large scale financing is translating into lasting territorial transformation. Drawing on four years of implementation across 12 countries, the report highlights how Indigenous Peoples and local communities are strengthening their institutions, securing rights and territories, advancing inclusive leadership, and using their own knowledge systems to deliver conservation at scale. It also traces how these experiences are beginning to influence the wider conservation finance system, providing evidence for more direct and rights-based approaches to funding Indigenous-led stewardship.
